Shift concerns can have several causes. We consider the valve body alongside fluid condition, electrical controls, the rest of the gearbox and the symptoms reported.
The proposed work depends on the exact unit and the findings. A valve body repair should not be assumed to resolve every transmission warning or shift problem.
Send the identification and history
- Vehicle registration or VIN and transmission identification.
- Fault codes and a description of the affected shifts.
- Previous valve body, solenoid or mechatronic work.
- Whether you need a vehicle assessment or have a removed assembly.
Setup after repair
Any adaptation reset, programming or relearning is selected for the repair and the manufacturer’s procedure. We can discuss that work alongside the valve body assessment.
