A separate part of drivetrain servicing

A gearbox fluid service does not automatically include the differential. We identify the differential and agree its service separately, including the correct oil specification and level procedure.

On all-wheel-drive vehicles, the differential, transfer case and Haldex coupling may have separate service requirements. We confirm which units are fitted and what each part of the agreed job covers.

What the service covers

We discuss the vehicle's history, inspect for visible leaks and agree the fluid change and any associated seals or fixings required for the job. The service scope depends on the differential and its condition.

A whine, knock, vibration or significant leak may need diagnosis first. Fresh oil does not repair worn or damaged internal parts.
