A conventional fluid change
The accessible fluid is drained and the gearbox refilled using the appropriate procedure. Agreed filter or sump work can be carried out as part of that service. Some fluid remains in parts of the transmission circuit.
A machine-assisted exchange
Our Flo-Dynamics equipment exchanges old fluid for fresh specified fluid through a suitable connection. Depending on the system and procedure, this reaches fluid beyond the sump, including the converter and cooler circuit.
Which should you choose?
We consider the transmission, history and condition before recommending the service. Neither approach replaces diagnosis of an existing fault. The filter, sump, seals, fluid specification and final level still need their own attention.
What about adaptation resets?
An adaptation reset is a separate procedure. It is selected where appropriate for the vehicle and the work, rather than automatically included with every fluid change or flush.
