Match the converter to the transmission
Converter concerns need to be assessed with the vehicle’s symptoms and gearbox condition. Judder, vibration or drive problems alone do not identify the converter as the cause.
Tell us the exact transmission, engine specification and any diagnostic findings. We discuss the repair or replacement route once the application and condition are understood.
Uprated converters for a defined build
A performance converter is selected around the engine’s delivery, the transmission, vehicle use and the rest of the build. There is no single upgrade specification for every ZF 6HP or 8HP application.
Include the engine modifications, intended use, existing software and any known torque targets. Compatibility and the proposed specification are confirmed individually.
