Find the source of the fault

Tell us when the noise or vibration happens: on acceleration, overrun, steady speed or during turns. Include any leaks, warning messages and previous work.

We assess the wider driveline where needed. Similar symptoms can come from other components, so we do not assume the differential is responsible before investigating.

Repairs based on inspection

The findings determine the job. Repair work may involve seals, bearings or internal components, subject to the fitted unit, parts availability and the agreed scope.

Where damage is more extensive, we discuss suitable repair or replacement options before proceeding. A fluid change alone is not a repair for mechanical damage.

Workshop assessment and recovery

Send the registration, service history and a description of the symptoms. If the vehicle cannot be driven, include its location and whether it rolls, steers and selects neutral so we can discuss recovery.
